So, if you aren’t planning on extending your lease or purchasing your current vehicle, how do you prepare for the end of your lease? You should start by scheduling a free pre-inspection of your leased car 45 days ahead of our lease ending. The pre-inspection is an extensive evaluation of the wear and tear on your vehicle to prepare for possible charges, in addition to providing you with a detailed report of the inspection’s findings.
At the end of your lease in Glastonbury, you are responsible for the Excess Wear and Use estimate that you received after the pre-inspection. Sometimes, if denoted in your lease agreement, the first $1,000 of the charges may be waived. You can make the repairs elsewhere before turning in the leased vehicle, but you must contact Mazda Capital Services before the hand off to have the repairs verified and credited to the final bill.
